OMG!!!\r\ni would like to take a DUMP all over this movie\r\ni didnt even see it and i think its gonna be dumb\r\ngeorg e lucas..dude\r nseriously \r\nyour gonna kill ur series\r\njus t let it go and work on something else\r\nsurpr ise us\r\nim not a harsh critic\r\nim not even a critic\r\ni just dnt see the point in making this movie
It was just ok!! It's not as bad as critics have said, but it left me wanting to have witnessed more of a story-line. The story is not dark enough for Anakin's transition, but it is light enough for kids to go and see. I wish the animation on the characters faces was more detailed, because sometimes you are not really sure what the characters are thinking or how they are reacting. Not a movie for the true die-hard Star Wars fan, but there is some cool animation and wild Light Saber scenes that help keep you entertained!! Why 3 stars... it's good for being a cartoon, just not a classic Star Wars film!!
I saw this in a theater with one of my friends and we both thought it wasn't that great of a movie. I don't think anyone over the age of 8 or 9 would really enjoy it. But it did have all of the characters, and a few new ones, so that was quite interesting. Story wasn't that great, the whole rescuing Jabba's larvae thing didn't really work for me.
It was not too bad, not too good.rnrnI heard "it" will be on TV as 3D show soon. So I guess this is good intro for that.rnrnIt is not good as real Star Wars for sure, but... I think it was ok.
A little long, kids enjoyed it, the adults found it not quite as good. Overall it was just 'ok'. Would be a good rental, not so much for theatre.
Entertainment Weekly gave it an F. It was not that bad, but not as good as Kung Fu Panda. All the light saber dueling will satisfy wannabe-Jedi; however, my four year old son thought it was too long. Anakin "Skyguy" is still boring to watch, and does not seem destined to be a Sith. Filoni would have been onto something if he let Rex Trooper be the protagonist.
